  1. It’s true. My daughter is almost 20-month-old now, and she mastered “more”, “cracker”, “milk”,”help”, “hurt”, “poo poo” pretty early on. And she even learned some *unintentional* sign languages; for example, we have the habbit of clapping our hands twice and open our arms to coax her to come over to be picked up. And so she learned that whenever she wanted to be picked up she’d clap her hands twice and open her arms.
